BODY LIFT SURGERY

TUMMY TUCK (abdominoplasty)

Also known as Abdominoplasty, A Tummy Tuck removes excess fat and skin and restores weakened or separated muscles creating an abdominal profile that is smoother and firmer. A flat and well-toned abdomen is something many of us strive for through exercise and weight control. Sometimes these methods cannot achieve our goals. Even individuals of otherwise normal body weight and proportion can develop an abdomen that protrudes or is loose and sagging. The most common causes of this include:Pregnancy, Aging, Significant fluctuations in weight, Heredity or Prior surgery.
Although the results of an abdominoplasty procedure are technically permanent, the positive outcome can be greatly diminished by significant fluctuations in your weight. For this reason, individuals who are planning substantial weight loss or women who may be considering future pregnancies may be advised to postpone abdominoplasty surgery.

ARM LIFT (brachyplasty)
An Arm Lift, also known as Brachioplasty, reduces excess skin and fat between the underarm and the elbow, reshapes your arm to result in smoother skin and contours and results in a more toned and proportionate appearance.
Fluctuations in weight, growing older and even heredity can cause your upper arms to have a drooping, sagging appearance. Exercise may strengthen and improve the underlying muscle tone of the upper arm, but it cannot address excess skin that has lost elasticity or underlying weakened tissues and localized fat deposits. If the underside of your upper arms are sagging or appear loose and full due to excess skin and fat, an arm lift may be right for you.

A special note: In order to achieve your improved image, there will be a scar on the inside of your upper arm.

LOWER BODY LIFT
A well-toned body with smooth contours often is a sign of fitness achieved by healthy diet and exercise. But exercise cannot always achieve desired results for people who have loose, sagging skin and uneven contours. Aging, pregnancy and significant fluctuations in weight as well as genetic factors may contribute to poor tissue elasticity and can result in sagging of the abdomen, buttocks, and thighs. A Lower Body Lift includes the abdominal area, buttocks, and outer thigh. Procedures which can be combined with a Lower Body Lift are: Inner Thigh Lift, ArmLift, Breast Lift, Breast Reduction, or Gynecomastia. Liposuction can also be combined with this procedure. Surgical removal of excess fat and skin from the abdominal wall is done with tightening of the muscles; simultaneous lifting of the thighs and buttocks is done using incisions that follow the line of a high-cut bathing suit, but a little higher just on the hip. Lower Body Lift surgery is performed under general anesthesia and may require 2 or more nights in hospital. The scars can usually be hidden in the natural skin creases so they are less visible. If you desire a firmer, more youthful-looking body contour, then a Lower Body Lift may help achieve your goals. It improves the shape and tone of the underlying tissue that supports fat and skin. Excess sagging fat and skin are removed to treat conditions caused in part by poor tissue elasticity.

THIGH LIFT
If fitness and weight loss efforts have not achieved your goals for a body that is firmer, more youthful-looking and more proportionate to your overall body image, a surgical thigh lift may be right for you.
A thigh lift reshapes the thighs by reducing excess skin, and in some cases fat, resulting in smoother skin and better-proportioned contours of the thighs and lower body. This surgery reshapes the thighs by reducing excess skin, and in some cases fat, resulting in smoother skin and better-proportioned contours of the thighs and lower body. Thigh lift is performed under general or epidural anesthesia, as only an inner thigh lift, outer thigh lift or both together.
This procedure can be combined with liposuction or other body lift procedures.

BUTTOCK LIFT (gluteoplasty)
Butt lift surgery (gluteoplasty) lifts and tightens the skin of the buttocks. Excess skin is removed and the surrounding tissue repositioned to create a more youthful and pleasing body contour. This procedure is not to be confused with a Brazilian Butt Lift, which adds volume to the buttocks using injections of the patient's own fat to increase projection and create a lifting effect.

BRAZILIAN BUTTLIFT
Autologous Buttock Augmentation or Brazilian Buttock Lift, allows men and women with flat or poorly developed buttocks to enhance and shape the area to their liking. Many individuals wish to contour their buttocks to fit their body size and shape. Brazilian Buttlift uses excess fat from other areas of the body, which act as donor sites. The donor sites include the abdomen, hips, back or thighs to add shape to the buttocks. The fat cells are delicately removed with a gentle liposuction technique and then inserted through small incisions into different layers of the buttocks. This method is more natural than the alternative – buttock implants. Our patients say their clothes fit better, they feel sexier and their confidence levels are greatly improved with fuller, shaped buttocks. AUTOLOGOUS FAT TRANSFER – BODY Autologous fat transfer is the transplantation of fat from suitable donor sites in the body to areas where fat is considered more desirable. Autologous fat transfer is currently used for buttock augmentation, breast augmentation, and to fill other areas of the body to give a more natural and balanced shape. The beginning of autologous fat transfer is the use of liposuction to remove fat from the donor site. This fat is then separated from other material, such as blood and connective tissue. Then the fat is injected into the area to be treated. Once the autologous fat transfer takes, the results should be permanent. This is why it is sometimes known as a fat graft because it is like removing fat from one part of the body and grafting it in another. However, the fat transfer process results in about 50% or more of the fat cells which are injected, to be absorbed by the body. Therefore more fat is injected than required since the physician accounts for 50% or more fat re-absorption. You may require a touch-up fat transfer procedure once or twice, since each body reacts differently, and it is difficult to predict how much fat will be re-absorbed by the body. This filler treatment that can give a lifetime of results with just one, two, or at most three sessions, is quite remarkable.
